Hi Del, I’ve recently switched to an SLS-free lifestyle on your advice but I have some itchy skin stubbornly remaining in certain small patches on my sides – it does feel slightly dry so can you recommend a good body moisturiser? Is there anything I should be worried about when it comes to the usual high street brands? I want something with as little fuss, hassle and ‘girliness’ as possible!

Now that you’ve eliminated the SLS (skin irritant) and other harsh chemicals from your washing routine, its time to address the dry patches on your skin that are themselves causing irritation.  As your brief is “as little fuss, hassle and ‘girliness’ as possible!”, I’m going to recommend body lotions that are rich in natural moisturisers, practical in delivery method and as non girly in fragrance as I can find.
