Burts Bees Revitalising Blueberry & Dark Chocolate Lip Balm – 4.25g (£3.99)
This lip balm was bought as a Christmas present and sat dormant in the bottom of my cupboard ever since. However, this week, I developed the dreaded MAN FLU, which as my brothers out there will confirm, leaves us looking and feeling like death warmed up! One side effect of MAN FLU is of course, the delightful ‘peeling lips’. What better opportunity I thought, to try out, test and review this lip balm from Burts Bees.
I’ll make no apology for describing the smell as unusual. It is labelled as blueberry and dark chocolate, but I struggled to identify either. Aside from the fragrance, the lip balm slides on easily and felt as if it was actually being absorbed, rather than creating a wax barrier on top of the skin. Dry lips are softened and feel smoother. I also didn’t experience any scuzzy residue around the lips half hour after application, which I have experienced with lesser products.
