Viridian – High Five Multivitamin & Mineral Formula – 30 Capsules (£8.26)
If you take supplements such as multi-vitamins, then as with everything on this blog, KNOW YOUR INGREDIENTS! Lots of multi-vitamins out there are made using cheap, harmless, fillers. Ingredients that are added to bulk out the tablet and not benefit you what so ever.
The percentage of the key ingredient may also be so small, that you’re required to take one tablet four times per day (who has time for that?). The jury is still out as to the real benefits of taking supplements, but if you do take them, read the label and make sure you’re consuming the best possible ingredients.
Viridian is one brand I’ve researched, tried and tested. Available on-line from lots of outlets, including Whole Foods and Neals Yard. They guarantee non-GM, non-irradiated and 100% active ingredients with no nasty additives whatsoever. No added sugars, no colourings or artificial flavourings. Viridian are also against the use of animal testing and do not test any of products or ingredients on animals.
