Neals Yard Calendula Cleanser – 100g (£15.50)
Now I’ve tried many different face washes in my time. Gels, creams, balms, the lot! But Neals Yard Calendula Cleanser is one that I find myself repeat purchasing. It has a thick cream coloured consistency. You only need a small amount and it spreads easily over the face. Its gentle calming ingredients means those of us who suffer from ‘red cheek syndrome’ AKA broken capillaries, don’t have to worry that we’re going to resemble a belisha beacon after washing our face!
Some of the biggest ingredients in the tube include Witchazel, Calendula and Cocao Butter which are moisturising and calming. The absence of strong essential oils also makes this particularly good for sensitive skins.
If it’s the first time you’ve used a cream cleanser, rather than a regular face wash, don’t expect it to foam. It’s not designed to and none of the ingredients are foaming agents.
